Visa rules for Indonesia have recently changed. Finding accurate information is not possible. Different consulates give different information.
The following nationalities do not require visas for short visits (30 days) to Indonesia: Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
In general you either do not need a visa or you can get one on arrival to Indonesia. Visa on arrival costs about US$50
Nationals from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Guinea, Israel, Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea and Somalia need a visa prior to arriving in Indonesia.
